Trilby Nelson is an artist and designer based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her textile and product designs celebrate color, pattern, and unexpected materials.
Childhood memories with a vivid sense of place and observations from her daily environment inspire her work and take form in vibrant color combinations, playful shapes, and varied textures. Trilby’s studio practice draws upon her art and design background and balances between handmade fiber art and textile and home product collections.
Trilby works closely with US textile mills to sustainably produce her designs. Each piece is thoughtfully made with materials and production methods that leave minimal impacts on the environment.
